Our CoolPall Flex PCM model combines polystyrene and VIP insulation in the base, paired with high-performance PCM (phase change material) coolants for extended thermal protection. Available in three sizes—narrow-bodied aircraft, half height, and full height—this model ensures reliable temperature stability from -20°C to 25°C for over 140 hours. With single or double coolant configurations, CoolPall Flex PCM maximizes payload capacity from 150L to 757L, giving you ultimate flexibility and exceptional protection for your critical cold-chain shipments.

Traditional Single-Use, Water Based Solution
High risk lanes
Made up of high quality combination of EPS-VIP insulation and PCM based coolants. Designed for and tested to high stress ISTA 7D temperature profiles during thermal qualification providing the extended protection needed for complex regional lanes and strict storage conditions.
Made up of basic insulation and either water or PCM based coolants. Typically tested to controlled low risk temperature profiles during thermal qualification which presents a high risk of thermal excursion and product spoilage when unexpected delays or weather conditions occur in the real world.
Slow assembly time
Fast assembly and simple loading of coolant pods and minimal hand loading of individual coolants significantly reduces assembly time and space utilizing modular components.
Typically time and labor intensive hand loading up to 30 individual coolants increasing manual touchpoints and required assembly space.
High packaging and storage cost
Modular and shared components shrink warehouse footprint and create an efficient assembly workflow significantly increasing daily throughput capacity.
Bespoke size solutions take up a larger warehouse footprint as each individual component takes up it's own pallet space and assembly zone. This increases packout time, labor cost and touchpoints significantly limiting a business operations ability to grow and scale.

Receiving pre-conditioned VIP and PCM pallet solutions prepared by Peli BioThermal's expert service operators provides peace of mind and an extended thermal protective buffer to maintain the desired temperature from loading to delivery without the cost and hassle of coolant conditioning and pallet shipper assembly.
Loading frozen coolants into the incorrect position can result in low temperature excursions (also known as cold shock). Relying on low skilled operators to assemble complex packout configurations increases risk of product spoilage.
