July InnovationShare Webinar Focuses on Ambient Temperature Data

Jul 1, 2021

This month brings a new InnovationShare webinar and a new speaker. Join us on July 21 as we discuss considerations for collecting and using ambient temperature data. You’ll learn about different data source options and their costs and benefits, ongoing lane monitoring for continuous process improvement, when enough data is enough and the importance of having an end in mind.

Presenter Paul Harber of Parenteral Supply Chain has more than 25 years of experience in transport validation. For 16 years, the scope of Paul’s work at Eli Lilly and Company (Lilly) focused on the qualification of active and passive shippers in support of clinical and commercial transportation of temperature-sensitive products. He played a significant role in defining and specifying cold chain requirements to support the commercialization of four Lilly products and also served as the interface to all regulatory agencies on issues related to transport package qualification. Paul is the 2008 recipient of the Eli Lilly Engineering Excellence Award, a peer-selected award acknowledging lifetime engineering achievements at Lilly.

Beyond Lilly, Paul found project work with non-governmental organizations to evaluate cold chain operations at Ebola vaccine clinical trial sites in Zone 4 countries personally rewarding. Paul received his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Engineering and has a Master of Science in Engineering from Purdue University.
